1. Service Agreement

By engaging Modern Home Works services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. A formal service agreement will be provided before work begins, clearly outlining the project scope, specifications, estimated timeline, pricing, responsibilities, and other applicable terms.

2. Project Scope & Changes

All services will be performed according to the agreed project scope. Any additions, modifications, upgrades, or changes requested after approval may require a revised quotation, additional charges, and an adjustment to the project timeline.

3. Payment Terms

A 30% deposit is required before project commencement. Progress payments will be collected according to the milestones specified in the service agreement. The remaining balance is due upon substantial completion and applicable project sign-off.

4. Project Timeline

Modern Home Works will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the estimated timeline. Delays caused by material availability, weather conditions, site access, client-requested changes, third-party suppliers, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect the completion date.

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 14 or more days before the scheduled project start date may qualify for a refund of the deposit, less applicable administrative costs or non-refundable expenses. Cancellations made within 14 days may be subject to cancellation charges of up to 20% of the project value, as specified in the service agreement.

6. Materials & Product Selection

Materials, fixtures, appliances, finishes, and other products will be selected according to the approved project specifications. If a selected product becomes unavailable, Modern Home Works may propose a comparable alternative subject to availability, pricing, and client approval.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate project information, reasonable access to the property, timely approvals, and any required permissions or documents. Delays caused by lack of access, delayed decisions, or incomplete information may affect the project schedule and costs.

8. Warranty

Unless otherwise specified in the service agreement, Modern Home Works provides a workmanship warranty for eligible work for 5 years from the completion date. Manufacturer warranties will apply separately to eligible materials, products, appliances, and equipment. Warranty claims should be submitted in writing with relevant supporting information.

9. Liability & Property Protection

Modern Home Works takes reasonable precautions to protect the work area and property during service delivery. Our liability will be limited to the extent specified in the applicable service agreement and permitted by law. Modern Home Works will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses unless otherwise required by applicable law.

10. Disputes & Terms Updates

Any concerns or disputes should first be communicated to Modern Home Works so that the parties can attempt to resolve the matter in good faith. These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The latest version will be made available on our website.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are available for services not yet rendered. For completed work, our satisfaction guarantee and warranty terms apply. Material refunds follow manufacturer return policies.

3. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days and returned to the original payment method. A confirmation email will be sent upon processing.
